Comp Winner Gareth’s Progress Log – Update 2

So it’s been a week and a half, and I am feeling fantastic!

I am genuinely surprised at how much I am enjoying myself at the moment. When I received the initial nutrition plan and skimmed through it, I was terrified. I didn’t like bananas. I didn’t like eggs. And I despised veg! Fast forward 9 days, and I’m eating eggs most mornings, with a side of mushrooms and spinach and as soon as I leave the gym I’m looking forward to my banana! The veg, I can deal with and hopefully learn to love. The most incredible thing I’ve tasted so far though,  has to be the beetroot burgers. Quite possibly the tastiest burger I’ve ever had in my life.

On top of all this, I’m sticking to the gym and enjoying that too! I’m never too tired for it after a full day in work, because I’m eating the right foods at the right times. At the moment I may look like a clown wandering around the gym in between exercises staring at my phone, but rest assured I’m just googling my next move!

So. Almost a quarter of the way through, the walk up the hill after work is getting easier every day. I’ll be sprinting up there soon, especially on beetroot burger day!
